Bloggerwave Scammed Me

I am not a happy camper. I don’t like being taken taken advantage of. I don’t like being told to do work and I’ll get paid for it but then the promised payment doesn’t come. I don’t like unanswered emails and contacts with customer service.

I wrote a post for Bloggerwave which was approved. The payment was $10 for the post. I wrote this post on November 2, 2007. Bloggerwave’s TOS states that payment will be made in 30 days.

As of today I have not been paid. I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Post a comment if you’ve been scammed by them too. Maybe we can shame them into paying us for our work.

  1. This has happened to a ton of other people. I think there is a whole thread over at the geekyspeaky forums of people who weren’t paid or were paid very late.

  3. It took me months to get paid. That was already around the time of the whole Paypal saying Bloggerwave was paying with a stolen credit card thing. I wrote them off and didn’t expect to get paid, but I eventually did. I haven’t bothered with them since, though!

  4. […] Piez, she did a post with them in November and still hasn’t been paid nearly 3 months later! You might remember the ordeal I had to go through in order to get paid back in May and June of […]

  5. I’m sorry to hear that this is still continuing. One would think that after everything that happened 8 months ago they would have learned their lesson and take great care to improve their tattered image. It appears that that is not the case however. They’re still quite happy to drag bloggers around by the short hairs. I hope you can get what you’re owed from them.

By the way, I blogged this to help get the word out there for you and also to *hopefully* help others to see that this is not a company to trust.

  6. Thanks for your comments and for helping to spread the
word about Bloggerwave and how they have been dishonest
    and unfair.
