I've got a similar, although opposite condition (Chronic Idiopathic Cold Urticaria). I can't be exposed to any cold air or wind, otherwise I have a severe inflammatory reaction, which in the worst case can cut off my lungs and squash my heart! Anaphylactic shock I think they call it.
