		<description>I agree that being stubborn often gives us purpose when battling a health challenge.  If you're doctors aren't helping then find easier ways of getting the help you need.  Depending on where you live and the illness find research centers/hospitals and see who specializes in your illness.

I've found that even traveling for a consult and a treatment regimen and then having a local doctor administer the treatment can be helpful.  It's something many cancer patients do in order to receive what they feel is the gold standard of care.  It would be an equally good practice for those of us with auto-immune diseases.

The other thing might be to interview the doctors.  My doctor is very forthcoming with treatment strategies and is always reviewing the current research. It instills confidence in me and that creates a great health team.</description>
