Chronic Moms Need A Break Too
All Moms need some time away from their children. It is a natural thing, nothing to feel guilty about. Those of us who have a chronic illness may require a break from caring from our children. I know that there were times when my daughter was a toddler that I was afraid about her safety when I was very sick. I was sometimes so sleepy or weak that I didn’t know if I would react quickly enough when she did something dangerous.
There were times after I went through a bad flare, or after a hospital stay that my husband and I needed a weekend away. We want to pack up our Rimowa Luggage and spend some time, just the two of us.
Over at my other blog, I’m running a contest for a year membership to Sittercity. It’s easy to enter. But don’t wait because it’s ending today at midnight. You’ll get a full year of seeing the background checks, full profiles and references. Go enter now. You deserve it!
