Val, either way you do it, a blog or a journal of your own, it can be helpful for you and your doctor to know what triggers your pain and other symptoms.

Ah Kerry, those are the words I was trying to grasp for, barometric pressure! That would make for an excellent medical study.

Used to hurt like a banshee when the weather changed and fronts moved in and out of town. Oh, I remember the pain from severe cases of Fibro & CFS!

I do seem to hurt more in certain temps and with weather changes. I've actually been thinking about keeping a health journal (aka blog) dedicated just to tracking health issues. Finding myself doubting it would be read, in which case I could just write it down.

Oh yes! Not only fibro, but CFS, Gastroparesis, neurological conditions, a benign tumor condition, pressure headaches, all worsen for me with barometric pressure changes. It is so frustrating because we can't contol the weather.

Other than medicines that help relieve symptoms, I try to surrender to it and lay low.

I hope someday soon that research will be done that helps us understand the effects of barametric pressure so we can find relief.
