New or experienced bloggers this is the place to be! You’ll get to network with top bloggers and other bloggers like me (I’d love to meet you), learn about blogging techniques, get swag (free stuff), free food and do all this at SeaWorld.

No need to worry if you’re disabled or have chronic illnesses. I’ve talked to people who have attended the last three years and was told that you don’t need to take part in everything if you’re not able to do so. I doubt I’ll make the late night parties. And yes, I’ll be taking my scooter with me.

izeafestI’ve written about the details and how to get tickets on my blog Brain Foggles. There’s even a sneak peak video of what’s to come at SeaWorld.

Cryo-Cell Cord Blood Bank

There are many possibilities when it comes to cord blood and stem cells. There is research going on right now on the use of stem cells from umbilical cords to cure Luekemia, Diabetes and other diseases. President Obama promised during his campaign to overturn the restrictions to stem cell research put in place while President George W. Bush was in office. Hopefully, this will occur soon.

When I gave birth to my youngest daughter I used Cryo-cell to store my daughters cord blood. My sister was diagnosed with Luekemia and I was diagnosed with Anemia during my pregnancy, my whole outlook on life changed.

My mother-in-law helped me to research what company to use. She is a Registered Nurse and wanted the best program which was safe and was easy for my Obstetrician the hospital to use. When she called Cryo-Cell, the support nurse told her to “compare us” and answered all of her questions to her satisfaction. Their nurses were available 24 hours a day and still are. My OB was happy with the company and the information they provided to him.

Their service was affordable and the storage fee is too. They always have ongoing offers and even take part in the UPromise program. You can see the current offers they have on their site now.

I highly recommend Cryo-Cell. The collection process was simple and the storage process has been smooth for the past 10 years.

Now that I am doing more giveaways on my other blogs, with some of them not sponsored or some that I have to mail myself, I’m using my postage scale and US Postal Service website more often.

I’m keeping bubblewrap, shipping boxes and large envelopes. I still didn’t get my business cards because I’ve decided to change my main website name. When that site is ready, I’ll order my cards. For now I’ve been including a handwritten note with the prizes.

It will look a lot more professional to have a couple of business cards to add to the package. It will also look good to have a good looking website that lists all of my blogs and a short bio of myself. Little by little, things are falling into place.

Day Trip Coming Up

I’m planning on meeting a blogger friend who is vacationing at Disney. We decided to meet at her hotel and do lunch. When we made these plans I was feeling well and didn’t think I’d have any problems. I figured I’d need to rest before driving home, but I could sit at DownTown Disney on a bench or even take a nap in my car. But with the way I’ve been feeling, I’ve asked my Mom to go with me.

This has me thinking and worrying too. What will I do if I’m not well for my daughter’s wedding? I will be there any way I can but I want to be able to enjoy myself. It’s so awful knowing that there is a good chance that I might feel sickly.

suitcaseI worry about making travel plans for the same reason. If we did have to cancel, I’d be so disappointed and know I’d let my family down. The one thing I learned is to always buy travel insurance just in case and to be sure that it pre-existing conditions.

New Body Parts

Remember the Bionic Woman and the Six Million Dollar Man? I often think about being able to replace my non-working body parts as easily as they did. And it sure would be great to be able to replace them with better performance parts.

I’d get new joints for most of my body, new muscles for the ones that hurt from Fibromyalgia, and new tear ducts and salivary glands that actually work. I’d even see if I could get a re-made neuromuscular junction so that I’d no longer have Myasthenia Gravis.

I’m sure there would be a lot of upkeep with these new parts, but it wouldn’t hurt to fix them. Plus there’d be spare ones if there was a big problem. Ah, the joys of imagination.

Shopping While Sick

I try to save money and try to save time when shopping. When I don’t feel well I love to shop online. It’s easy and painless. I don’t need to find a ride to the store and try to feel energized to look around stores for what I want. The other thing I like about shopping online is it is less work to look for a sale. I can look for promo codes, online coupons and check on comparison websites.

What are some of your favorite places to shop online? Does it help you when you’re not well to use this method of shopping?
