It’s Been A Long, Long Time

I know a lot of you thought I fell off the face of the earth, or that I got the worst stomach flu known to man, or that I was totally incapacitated.

I have been sick. And just found out that it is the Myasthenia Gravis. Even my neurologist was pretty shocked as to how downhill I’ve gone. I’m slowly increasing my Mestinon. And waiting to see how that goes. He’s warned me that if this doesn’t work, I’ll have to increase the Cellcept. That does not make me happy at all.

Sorry for not keeping up here, but I’m doing the best I can with writing reviews and running contests on my other blogs. I hope to write here again soon. There’s so much information that I want to pass along about health and medical conditions, especially rare ones.

Thanks to all who keep checking on me.

  1. Just started to follow this blog.

So sorry to hear about the diagnosis. I have a friend who has this, so I understand a little how fatigued and weak you can get.

    Please take it easy.

What other blogs do you run? I will try to follow you there. Also, is it easier to sit and type or recline and talk? If the latter, try to get a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking, and use it to type updates. Works for me to save my eyes, but I know they MG can tired all muscles.

    Let me know.
