Yeast Infections
This isn’t a topic that is easy to write about, but a vaginal yeast infection is part of women’s health and something that we women go through. Even if you have had one of these infections before, it is still difficult to know if this is what you actually when you have symptoms because they can overlap with other infections or feminine problems.
For example, you may feel burning on urination when you have a yeast infection but also if you have a urinary tract infection or UTI. You can feel irritation when you have a yeast infection but you can feel that when you have vaginal discomfort too and don’t have an actual infection.
So how can you know for sure if you have a yeast infection? You can go to your doctor, you can use over the counter tests or if you have had one before, read this:
What is a yeast infection? It is a common infection caused by a type of fungus. There are many causes for this type of infection including, stress, pregnancy, certain medications, tight clothing, and having diabetes.
Having candidiasis (another name for yeast infection) is uncomfortable. It can cause itching, a discharge, irritation, painful intercourse and burning urination. Most often you want treatment and you want it fast. Now there are OTC medications that many doctors tell patients to use. They are easy to get and use.
